Many parents have asked what Action 100 looks like at home. Here are a few pointers to help you:

1.  Children need to read 30 minutes at home at their color level.
2.  15 minutes is considered one step.  After your child has read two steps, he/she should record steps on their reading log.  A parent signature is required for each step read at home.
3.  "Dessert books" may be read after completing the two steps.  Dessert books include favorite stories, a chapter book read with a parent, special books, or a parent reading to a child.
